Debate and Global Citizenship

Debate and Global Citizenship - LOGO

The teaching methodologies based on active participation and student/teacher collaboration in order to build personalized learning are typical of Debate , which through regulated discussion develops new skills and deepens knowledge and proposes a critical learning model capable of preparing for adult life and for political participation and professional future

It is a methodology that allows the acquisition of transversal skills, favoring cooperative learning. The debate consists of a path of research and selection of materials, and of elaboration of an argumentative text which culminates in a confrontation between two or more teams of students who mutually compare their positions through the use of documents prepared for the purpose.
