PROMOTES INNOVATION IN THE LIFE SCIENCES

Students of the Liceo Galilei at the conference "Promoting innovation in the Life Sciences - Friuli Venezia Giulia, The place to be"

The event was held at the Trieste Convention Center on 8 and 9 November 2023 and has planned two days of plenary conferences, parallel sessions, exhibition spaces and networking opportunities, aimed at exploring trends in the field of Life Sciences and to enhance the ecosystem of research and innovation in the Life Sciences sector in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Participants had the opportunity to meet established companies and innovative startups and discover new training, work and business opportunities.

Among the topics covered: innovation ecosystems as a lever to promote competitiveness and growth of territories, artificial intelligence applied to Life Sciences, technological transfer, financing mechanisms for the sector and some of the most current topics in medical research, from healthy aging to the challenges of genomics.

The initiative was supported by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region and implemented by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Life Sciences Cluster - Alto Adriatico Technological Polo Andrea Galvani with the partnership of The European House-Ambrosetti.
