Physics School with Smartphone and Arduino

During the Physics in DDI workshop of the Galilei Future Lab, professor Giovanni Organtini, professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" proposes activities through which the participating teachers learn to use Arduino boards and smartphones to carry out effective measurements and experiments to be proposed to students in their schools.

A plastic tube, a magnet, some electric wire and an Arduino are the only tools for an electromagnetic induction experiment

In a short time each participant in the workshop, even if without knowledge of microprocessor programming, is transformed into a real maker able to carry out competitive experiments compared to those that can be performed with dedicated materials.
