"Peer to Peer Orientation" is organized by the mathematics dissemination student association "Come Volevasi Divulgare (CVD)", by the Degree Course in Mathematics and by the Degree Course in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics of the University of Trieste. This orientation initiative is aimed at upper secondary school students interested in enrolling in these two degree courses. The goal of the meeting is to put our current students in contact with future freshmen to facilitate communication between peers in the description of the two paths. The initiative will take place on Monday 8 June 2020 at 4.30 pm via Zoom. Attached you will find the poster of the event and below the data to connect to Zoom.
ONLINE EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS - SANT'ANNA HIGH SCHOOL
The Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, in this emergency phase in which the maximum enhancement of online teaching is required, wants to offer the Italian school system what has been produced in their university environment in recent years but which can be suitable for the training of secondary school students. A catalog of lessons recorded during their orientation courses is available online, with over 60 lessons dealing with wide-ranging current issues such as climate, terrorism, health and innovation, mind and technology, presented through a multidisciplinary approach comparing different disciplines, from experimental sciences to social sciences.
The University of Trieste organizes a series of events in the Trieste, Pordenone and Portogruaro offices to talk about economic, social and environmental sustainability.
From 21 May to 6 June there will be the third edition of the Sustainable Development Festival entitled "Let's put our hand to our future"

UNIVERSITY ORIENTATION COURSES 2019 OF THE NORMAL HIGH SCHOOL https://www.sns.it/it/orientation
There are three orientation courses which will be held in San Miniato, in the province of Pisa, from 25 to 30 June, in Rome, from 8 to 13 July, and in Naples, in the first ten days of September. No fewer than 85 students will be admitted to each course with a commitment of six days for educational and informational activities. To complete the Scuola Normale Superiore program for 2019, the collaboration between the Scuola Normale Superiore, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and the IUSS University School of Pavia is confirmed. This initiative will lead to the organization of another three courses in the coming months for which useful information will soon become available to allow students to apply
The "Vie al Futuro" guide prepared by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region to promote orientation activities and support the choices of students in grades 4 and 5 in school and work is available online. The guide offers information on post-diploma study and training programmes, on opportunities for initial job placement after studies and on services and financial support for accessing and attending post-diploma study programmes.
