PCTO AIRC "Cancroiotiboccio"

The path of PCTO “CANCROIOTIBOCCIO!” carried out in collaboration with the AIRC Foundation, it had the aim of making the school community aware of the importance of prevention and correct lifestyles and of bringing them closer to the experience of volunteering and social responsibility.

The students involved successfully carried out a cancer prevention campaign and promoted the sale of solidarity products in the classes of our high school at the headquarters and branch offices and with families and acquaintances to obtain funds for cancer research.

Involved families and the whole school community of the Galilei High School whose participation allowed the sale of products for a total of almost 1900 euros (80 nets of oranges, 74 jars of honey and 84 jars of orange marmalade)!!

The fundraising and dissemination campaign "Le Arance della Salute" continued for our students alongside the volunteers of the AIRC Foundation on 28 January at the distribution stalls in the center of Trieste, as reported by the newspaper "il Piccolo" and by regional news.
