# FUTURA TRIESTE A SEA OF SCIENCE
#FuturaTrieste will take place from 10 to 12 April 2019, at the Stazione Marittima complex, and will present experiences, meetings, debates, training workshops, competitive courses on innovative teaching methodologies, good practices from local schools.
#FuturaTrieste is also part of a network of initiatives linked to Trieste Città della Scienza 2020, and in this context it is proposed as a moment of propulsion for STEM and digital and innovative teaching, with different areas dedicated to meetings, training and sharing of experiences and best practices.
The Agorà will host institutional meetings, conferences; the Future Zone area will be dedicated to digital and innovative good practices proposed by local schools.
The Digital Circus will see robotics and Fab Lab experiences.
Teachers Matter and Students Matter will offer hands-on workshops on new educational practices and related teaching tools in the digital age. In addition, teachers, especially those in the scientific area, will have the opportunity to enroll in training workshops at the most important research centers in the area.
One of the common threads is represented by the national hackathon, which will be attended by delegations of schools from all over the country, and a civic hackathon, which will be attended by delegations from all secondary schools in Trieste.
#FuturaTrieste represents an opportunity to celebrate the digital school as a meeting and exchange point to which we are all called to contribute with the aim of seizing the opportunities of the scientific and digital age for the training of the new generations.
